VISCERAL SCIENCE is a VR Education project developed in a partnership with The World Science Festival and Columbia University, and with support from Verizon Communications. The project aims to not only use the power of virtual reality to educate our children, but it also specifically focuses on leveraging the 5G technology. We are proud to become one of the first teams to combine 5G, VR and education, and to help create the blueprint for the classrooms of the future.

In the Visceral Science experience a class of students and their teacher are immersed into a multiplayer environment where they explore our galaxy and work in teams to gain a better understanding of how stars come to be, how they evolve, and eventually die.

Guide the life cycle of stars from their birth in furnaces of gas clouds till their death in violent explosions. Create planetary systems and learn how orbits are shaped by velocity of protoplanets and star gravity. Collaborate with your teammates to land planets on perfect orbits. Witness collapse of dying stars followed by beautiful nebulae, and if you are lucky enough - experience massive supernovae that produce black holes and neutron stars.

Science and technology evolve tremendously fast and virtual reality becomes an essential tool that helps our students to understand new concepts faster, better, and produce a lasting impact on our society’s knowledge foundation.
